Hansa Brilliant Yellow 4GX is a green shade monoazo pigment. The shade is similar to Pigment Yellow 1 but with higher transparency and very good light fastness properties. Yellow pigment for air-drying paints. Of particular importance is its stability to recrystallization which is excellent compared with other Hansa Yellow grades and makes it eminently suitable for the production of tinting colors for emulsion paints and air-drying synthetic resin paints. Because of the high risk of blooming it is not suitable for stoving enamels.
